IAS Accreditation
As of July 2015, VMC Group has successfully gained accreditation by the International Code Council’s (ICC) International Accreditation Service (IAS) as a Product Certification Agency PCA-127, Third-Party Certification Body. VMC Group has been named the first and only product certifying agency for special seismic certification of non-structural building components and their mounting configurations. IAS accredits product certification agencies under ISO/IEC Guide 65 (ISO/IEC 17065).
For product certification organizations like VMC Group, IAS accreditation demonstrates to the marketplace that they have been thoroughly evaluated, operate under best practices and are under continual monitoring by an internationally recognized, trusted and widely accepted accreditation body.
